The Melt Method, created by Sue Hitzmann, is a simple and powerful hands-off technique. This amazing self-assessment, self-treatment technique is one that I was introduced to in 2010 at my first training with Sue. Since then, the Melt Method has been part of my daily self-care regimen.

This powerful technique is an extension of my hands-on practice of myofascial release and craniosacral therapy, and enhances all of the benefits these therapies provide. Therefore, I encourage my clients to implement the Melt Method to their own daily self-care regimen.

Following the 4-R Protocol—Reconnect, Rebalance, Rehydrate, Release—the Melt Method uses your body sense to reconnect the body and mind. It also employs balls on the hands and feet, and a soft foam roller on the body, to restore hydration to the fascia, reignite connection in our body’s neural pathways, eliminate pain, and restore balance to the body and mind.
